String Success 

A Collection for First- through Third-Year String Students arranged by Linda Finegan

 

In 2005, Linda started an orchestra program in the Harrison Central School District of NY. The small group grew to a robust program of over 300 young string players. But something was lacking. Linda just couldn't find enough engaging, pedagogically appropriate orchestra arrangements for her first- and second-year students. So... she made her own!

 

To this day, Linda's four-part arrangements of standard teaching pieces have been thoroughly tested by her own orchestras and colleagues' ensembles. Students really enjoy playing and performing these familiar tunes while mastering skills so important for beginners.
